An Evening With John Skipp: The Great Divide

Horror legend and New York Times bestselling author-turned-filmmaker John Skipp will screen his debut feature THE GREAT DIVIDE, a dark satirical comedy on income inequality, dysfunctional families, and America's ongoing robber baron tradition.
In addition, he'll discuss the making of this ambitious micro-budget ensemble piece -- built entirely around his fellow students from Portland's Actor's Lab -- and discuss his nearly 40-year career telling subversive truths through a nightmare lens.
This class will be taught by John Skipp, whose screenwriting credits include CLASS OF 1999, TALES OF HALLOWEEN (2015), CREEPSHOW (2019) and more. Skipp’s fiction has been published by The Twilight Zone Magazine and Bantam Books.
Class size will be limited to 18.
