Zia Anger has directed music videos for Mitski, Maggie Rogers, Angel Olsen, Beach House and Jenny Hval. In this, her first feature (about her first attempt at a feature), she creates a semi-autobiographical work about the chaos and ego of youthful enthusiasm bristling against the realities of inexperience as Vita, a young director played by Odessa Young, struggles with the nature of artistic truth and personal mythmaking while trying to keep her production afloat. Based on Zia's live performance of the same name.
