In honor of Women’s History Month and the 30 year anniversary since Lucy Lawless first rode into action, we are presenting a double feature from this amazing sword and sorcery series.
Beginning as a spinoff from HERCULES: The Legendary Journeys, Xena and her sidekick Gabrielle (Renee O’Connor) quickly eclipsed their origins in popularity, becoming one of the 90s most enduring heroines.
First Up we are screening “Callisto” where a marauding murderess is destroying villages and claiming she is actually Xena. Soon, Xena will discover she had a hand in creating this villain.
In the next episode, guest starring Hercules himself, Kevin Sorbo, Xena must rescue Prometheus who has been chained to a rock by the jealous Goddess Hera and humanity is suffering as a result.
Swashbuckling swordplay, magic, mayhem, monsters, revenge and romance all packed into two glorious hours!
