Vo Vo is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose work spans textiles, prints, video, and social practice, with a focus on radical pedagogy and activism. For the 2026 Converge 45 Triennial, Vo presents Street Meetz, a new “vox populi” video project shaped by the spirit of public access television and cult documentaries like Heavy Metal Parking Lot (1986). Filmed through conversations with strangers in public spaces around Portland, the project demonstrates how even brief, unscripted exchanges can create a sense of connection and community.
