Northwest Museum of Cartoon Arts at Movie Madness
The Northwest Museum of Cartoon Arts will be hosting a popup in the Movie Madness Miniplex to promote their ongoing effort to build a comic book museum in Portland, OR.
NWMOCA will be hosting four local comic artists to sell their work while showing cartoons which are not available through any streaming platform on the Miniplex screen. The Northwest Museum of Cartoon Arts is an organization dedicated to create a space for all things cartoons, comics, anime, and manga within the Pacific Northwest and beyond! Currently, we are working on raising funds and awareness to help in the creation of a creative space for all to come and work and collaborate. In addition to creating this space, they have also worked on creating several educational classes for students to create comics while practicing their literary skills.
