The World is Wrong About…One Trick Pony

The world is wrong about Paul Simon’s 1980 motion picture ONE TRICK PONY (98 min), and the person who is the most wrong about it is probably Simon himself.

In this class, we’ll celebrate the under-appreciated work of writer Paul Simon and director Robert M. Young’s ONE TRICK PONY.  Rendering Simon’s album of the same name on film with honestly funny performances from musicians like Lou Reed, Tony Levin & Steve Gadd, Simon and Young created a film that is ultimately heartbreaking or heartwarming depending on how much you believe in singer-songwriters.

This class will be taught by Andras Jones, the producer and co-host of The World Is Wrong podcast. He is an author, a songwriter/producer and a longtime veteran of the film industry. He is probably best known as a teen actor from A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: THE DREAM MASTER, and other cult films of the late 80’s and 90’s. You can find out more about all his work at previouslyyours.com.

Enrollment is limited to 18 students.
